At Woodward Foundation, we believe a strong society is an equitable society—and that means one where social inclusion and financial inclusion go hand in hand. When women, and by extension communities and all underrepresented groups, lack financial freedom and independence, true equality cannot exist. So what does financial inclusion and financial freedom look like? And what does it take to get it? It begins with a core set set of financial skills and know-how that the Woodward Foundation is here to help women gain access to and build confidence in, to create a WealthiHER future.

WealthiHER is our signature series of financial literacy programming that sets women on their path to financial freedom. From our core curriculum, women will gain:
A grounding in the basics of financial acumen, including exposure to different financial and investment instruments and how to evaluate different types of investment opportunities.
An in-depth evaluation of their financial goals, with an eye to growth and wealth accumulation.
A look at portfolio management, and how to evaluate and rebalance existing assets.
An introduction to what financial advisors and financial planners do, as distinct from investment brokers and CPAs, and how to build a team of advisors who will help women achieve their financial goals.
A lesson in risk analysis and risk management, so women can identify their personal risk profile—crucial for achieving financial goals.
Lifetime access to the growing Woodward database of women-centered financial products, platforms and impact funds that place women's financial freedom at the forefront of their missions.
Once completed, graduates of the WealthierHER series will be positioned to explore our advanced offerings in:
Entrepreneurship and Access to Capital: Success secrets for pitching a new venture and breaking through the 2% glass ceiling of venture monies currently flowing to female founders.
Profit with Purpose: Exploring the world of impact investing and maximizing the success of one's philanthropic goals;
Financial Feminism: An advanced offering for women who are ready to pursue activist investing and want to meet those in the finance world who are working to change corporate board composition, and support companies walking the talk of financial inclusion.
Stay tuned for announcements about all of these offerings and more!
